In connection with the incident, people say that the entire family of Sujit Pandey, resident of Mishra Toli Mohalla under Sherghati area of ​​Gaya district, left for Mahakumbh bath in Prayagraj on Friday. About 12 members rode on three vehicles and left from Sherghati police station area of ​​Gaya district. On the way, those people faced jam for hours. On Saturday morning, when they reached Aurai of Bhadohi in UP, the tire of one of his vehicles was punctured. After that, all the people on the vehicle started making puncture at a shop on the road. During this time everyone was standing near the shop. At the same time, a sudden high speed truck came from the opposite direction and collided in a standing vehicle, trampling the people standing on the road. In the said incident, Sujit Pandey’s brother Dilip Pandey and his sister -in -law Asha Pandey died on the spot. At the same time, Dilip’s sister Anjali died in the hospital in the course of treatment. Dilip Pandey’s wife involved in the incident died during Korona. His 17 -year -old son was also injured in the accident. Asha Pandey’s daughter is also in critical condition.

As soon as the information of the said incident was received, weeds were mourned in the Gaya district. Social worker Vinay Kumar said that this accident has brought a dual tragedy for the family. After receiving information about the incident, other families from Sherghati along with Gaya district left for BHU located in Varanasi.
